SHUTT FAMILY, of Sparta---DEABOLD SCHOTT b.29 Sep 1735, d. 14 Nov 1799 married Christina Elisabetha Riesen b. 1760 d. 1806. They are buried in Salem Union Church at Moorestown, PA. Deobold was in Rev. War. They had children: Lorenz b. 1761 d. 1826; Maria Margaretha b. 1763; THEOBALD b. 1766; Christina b. 1767; Gertrude b. 1769; John Jacob b. 1770; Maria b. 1772; Catharine b. 1774; Elizabeth b. 1776; Anna Maria b. 1777. All stayed in Northampton Co. PA except for Theobald who went to NY. Lorenz served in the Rev. War and also as a substitute for Theobald.
