    Lt. Thaddeus Clark, from Ireland, first ment. at Portland 1663. He liv. through Philip's War (see his letter 14 Aug. 1676) to die in the next. His house was on Clark's Point in the vicin. of Portland Bridge. Lt. 14 Nov. 1689. Rep. 1684 (misr. -Hadden and Clark- in List 226). … In the siege of Fort Loyal he led a sally for observation and with 13 of his men was k. 16 May 1690. May 20 his wife and presum. all of his ch. exc. Elizabeth and Jonathan were taken captives. He m. Elizabeth Mitton, ag. 85 in Oct. 1728, approximately 90 in Dec. 1734, d. 1736, ag. 91, in Boston. Ch. (only 3 heirs): Elizabeth, m. by 1682 Col. Edward Tyng, bur. in Boston 4 July 1690. Isaac, b. about 1666. Jonathan, wit. with Elizabeth Tyng 1686, brot news 17 May 1690 of the battle at Portland.
