    Teressa Vastia Babcock Clement, wife of Jarius Clement, was born in Jackson Centre, Ohio, in August, 1861, and died in Bartlett, Neb., March 21, 1889, in the 29th year of her age.
    Sister Clement made a public profession of faith in Christ when she was twelve years old, and became a member of the Seventh-day Baptist Church of Jackson Centre, Ohio, where she retained her membership till death. She was a faithful and conscientious Christian while she lived, and died rejoicing in the Christian hope. She was brought to North Loup for funeral service and interment. G. J. C.
