It is possible that he is the same Theodore, Placida's son by her second husband, who died in 1970, whose birth year is given as 1885 in his death record. However, this Theodore was about 1 month old when the 1870 census was taken in July, whereas the Theodore who died in 1970 has a birth month of September. Thus, it seems more likely that this Theodore died in the early 1880's and another son was given the same name.
