"Temperance4 (Griswold), b. Killingworth, Conn., 1720 (Joseph3, John2, Edward1); m. in Wallingford, Conn., Aug. 23, 1741, Timothy Andrews. There is no proof at present that this Temperance was the daughter of Joseph. Killingworth records gives date of her marriage and death. The fact that Joseph's wife was Temperance and that the date of birth is indicated by her date of death, seems very probable that this record would be correct. Temperance died Nov. 25, 1743, ae 23, shortly after the birth of her child."
