    The death occurred at hospital on Saturday of the late Mr Sydney Orient :Leigh El;lis of 66 Wilks Street at the age of 63 years.
    Deceased was born in Perth and had resided in Broken Hill and districts all his life.
    He was last employed as a labourer on the North Mine until his retirement.
    He was a member of the RSL Club, Sturt Club and RED & FA.
    Deceased is survived by a widow and a grown up family.
    The Funeral will take place today (Tuesday) leave St Peter's Church of England, Lane Street after a service commencing at 11 am for the General Cemetery.
    Fred J Potter & Son have charge of the funeral arrangements.
