    "S. Sinnema passed away on Monday of this week after an illness of only a week. Deceased was taken with grippe and rheumatism of the heart and died suddenly. Mr. Sinnema was born seventy-two years ago at Vrouwen Parochie, Netherlands. At the age of twenty-two he was united in marriage to Tryntje Boonstra. Three children were born to them, the only one surviving being Mrs. Joe Te Veltrup of Sioux Center. The family came to this country in 1881 and since that time have made their home at or near this place. For some years past Mr. and Mrs. Sinnema have lived in the east part of town. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, services being held in the First Reformed church and were conducted by Rev. Engelsman."
