Sue Goss married John Reuben "J.R." Brock after her husband had died. She had two children by her first marriage - Johnny and Ella Mae Goss. J.R. had 5 sons by his first marriage to Demmie Cordell who died in 1912 - Henry (abt 1902-1952), Nick (1904-abt 1984), Allison (abt 1906- 1984), Fred (abt 1908-abt 1973), and T.J. (1910-1978). (this info was written down & given to his children by John Rubin Brock (1935-2012) before he passed away.)
Note: This information is not entirely accurate, as Susie's 2 children from her first marriage were Bertha and Johnny. Ella Mae Brock (not Goss) was born several years after her first husband died.

- ↑ 10.0 10.1 She appears to have gone by Susie most of her life, but the 1910 census and her daughter Ella's social security record both show that she also went by Mary (which might have been her legal name).
