- The following is from the will of Toleration Harris. He does not call Susannah wife of Jabez Reynolds his daughter:
I give and devise unto Susannah Reynolds the Wife of Jabez Reynold Jun. of North Kingstown & to her heirs forever the one half part of my Mansion House and Farm in Warwick whereon I now Dwell which I have given by Deed ___ Susannah? Latham during her Natural Life Together with the one half part of the Stream of Water, that Runs through the Farm with the one half of the Grist mill thereon & the one half of the Utensils belonging to sd Grist Mill, to ___ to the sd Susannah Reynolds and her Heirs forever, after the decease of the sd Susannah Latham. I also give to the sd Susannah Reynolds the one half part of all the Money that I may have by me at my decease and also one half part of all my Securities for money that Shall be due to me at the time of my decease.
I give and Bequeath unto Susannah Latham of Warwick for and in Consideration of her being with me and keeping my Home for about Thirty years last past? all my House hold goods and Fasn___ of what kindsoever I also give her the one half part of all my money that I may have by me at my decease, also the one half part of all my _ear_en for money that Shall be due to me at my decease. I also give to her the half part of all my Cattle, Horses, Sheep, Hogs, that may belong to me at the time of my decease. I also give to her my Negro man _a__ & my negro wench Jane & her child called Je_ry.
