As yet this is not proven. From book HILL, HASTY, HARPER of North Carolina and Georgia: "At this time we do not know the names of either the parents or the husband of Susannah HILL, or just where she lived before settling in Wayne CO, NC. The first record we find of her in Wayne Co, is a deed recorded in Book 7, page 228, dated 1789, for land lying on Appletree Swamp. Her daughters, jemima, Delilah, and Rhoda were buying land on Appletree Swamp as early as 1785, we assume that they must have come to Wayne Co about the same time, and that Susannah's husband died some time prior to that."
