Children of Michael Dunnell and Mary ---: 8) Susannah, b. 1685. In father's will proved [sic, written 1710, proved 1718, Essex Probate 8382] legacy is given to the child of his daughter Susannah Killum.

  3. The assumption is that Susanna had died by 1710 because her father left a legacy to her daughter. A John Killum and wife Susanna a daughter Hannah in 1702 who d. 1711 but was alive when the will was written. Still a child in 1702 is probably too early to be this Susanna, and a widow Susanna Killum d. Springfield in 1731, presumably the widow of John, further suggesting that was a different person. Savage shows her marrying a John Devenish (2:87), of whom no record is found and quoting the above source, "What authority Mr. Savage has for this, I do not know."
