Susan June Schmidt
Susan J. Schmidt, 93, of Bridgman, formerly of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at her home. Cremation will take place and her family will be remembering her privately. Burial will be in Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be given to the Bridgman Public Library, 4460 Lake Street, Bridgman, MI 49106.
Susan was born on May 13, 1922 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Percel and Clara (Beyer) Manders. On June 18, 1945 she married Gerald William Schmidt and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2002.
Survivors include her children: Kay (Kenneth) O’Brien III of Bridgman, Thomas (Karen) Schmidt of Gurnee, IL; grandchildren: Kenneth (Diana) O’Brien IV, Grady O’Brien, Joseph Schmidt; brother: Ted (Connie) Manders.
Susan was also preceded in death by one son: Daniel Schmidt in 1992.
