Eleazer Wheelock, the founder of Dartmouth College. … Her headstone reads: Here lies the body of Mrs. Submit relict of Mr. Silas Newcomb who departed this life Feb. 12, 1804 in the 87th year of her age. She was a tender parent well beloved by her acquaintances and died in hope of a blessed resurrection.
