CTTSN Steven Allen Weller, 19, died Monday, June 14, 2004.

He was born July 21, 1984, to Scott and Linda (McLaughlin) Weller. Surviving are: his wife, Cami (Doe) Weller, whom he married June 9, 200 3; his parents; Scott and Linda (McLaughlin) Weller; three brothers, Micha el Weller, Ryan Weller and Greg Weller; a nephew, Nicholas Weller; grandpa rents, Lucy (Albert) McLaughlin-Pearson, and Randy and Marian Welle r. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded by: his grandfather, Gordon S McLaughlin; aunt, Patricia L amson; and great-grandparents, John R and Betty (Paul) Weller, Sherman a nd Deloris Hetrick, and Oneida Bartholmew.

Steven was a 2002 graduate of Bettsville High School, where he excell ed in track, cross-country, baseball and basketball; as well as Sentinel C areer Center in computer technologies; and he was certified in fiber optic s.

He enlisted in the U.S Navy after high school graduation. He went to bo ot camp at Great Lakes Naval in Chicago, Ill. Upon graduation, he we nt to Pensacola, Fla., for specialized schooling. He ranked second in h is class, which allowed him to choose his next placement. Steven chose Fo rt Gordon in Augusta, Ga., where he has been up to the present time, worki ng as a cryptotech.

Steven enjoyed animals, gardening and especially his nephew, "Nicky." T he two best friends spent many hours of quality time together. His cani ne companions "Doser" and "Ajax" have give Steven many hours of pleasur e. His small garden of tomatoes and strawberries was a great source of pri de to him.

He is loved by many; and many will greatly miss his bright smile, sen se of humor and quiet way. God bless you and keep you, "Stevie."

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bettsville School with Pastor M artha Gross officiating.

Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. today at the school.

Memorials may be made to the Bettsville school athletic department or t he Seneca CO Animal Shelter.

The Engle Funeral Home in Bettsville is in charge of the arrangements.
