Stephen Davol, son of Pardon and Priscilla (Read) Davol, was born in Freetown, Mass., January 29, 1782. He married, October 20, 1803, Polly Bowen, daughter of Jeremiah and Lillis (Haile) Bowen, of Warren. She was born April 3, 1784, and died July 3, 1823. Stephen Davol died October 17, 1848.
