Taw wasn't really sure what the M was in his mother's name he was 4 when she died. it upset him that he didn't know. Mom thinks the others weren't sure either but thought Martha was more likely than Miltilda.

AnnieMama's G was from Gilette. She didn't think there were any relatives with Gilette in their name. She would often write her name as Annie G. Horsley at first. Later she went by Annie D. Horsley. (The cookbook from the home extension listed her recipes as from Annie D. Horsley.)

    KateMama had no middle name.

Uncle Sterling (his mother's brother) had a middle name of Crawford. And Taw was named after both Uncle Judd (Davidson side) and Uncle Sterling (stratton side)
