    "66. Lieut. Stephen White, son of Dea. Joseph, (25) was born in East Middletown, Jan. 17, 1731, and was a farmer there, on a part of his father's homestead. He was chosen constable in the town, of Middletown, from 1763 to 1766, and held offices in Chatham [now Portland], after that town was organized. He died Nov. 23, 1774, æ. 43. He married, Feb. 10, 1757, Honor Hubbard of Glastenbury. After his death, she married, 2d, Jan. 12, 1780, Capt. Thomas Wadsworth of E. Hartford, who died 1783, æ. 67. She was born Jan. 1, 1734, and died Jan. 31, 1789, æ. 55."
