p. 158 7 Mar 1785 Know all men by these presents that I Daniel Chalse of Guilford in the County of Windham in the state of Vermont, Gentlman for and in consideration of the Sum of Eight Pounds Lawfull money Paid to me in hand Before the Delivery hereof by Zephaniah Shepardson junr. convey unto thim the said Zephaniah Shepardson junr. one half acre of Land lying at the Southern Corner of the House Lot #fifty Lying in Guilford upon the west line and six rods wide at the South End and Running to a Pick at the North End be the same more or Less.
