Stella Crosley, daughter of Barzilla and Emma Glaspie Crosley, was born Dec. 7, 1880, and died Aug. 11, 1970 in Vandalia, Ill. Stella was a lifelong resident of the Farina, Ill., community. She graduated from Milton College and taught school around Farina for several years. She was a member of the Farina Seventh Day Baptist Church for over seventy years, and was an active member of the Ladies Aid Society, and a longtime Sabbath School teacher. Services were held in Farina August 13, with a grandnephew, the Rev. Wayne Maxson, officiating. Burial was in the Farina cemetery.
