Spencer Paul Nix, was the son of Rev John Kelly Nix and Lucy Tingley Thompson of Blount County, Alabama. And the grandson of Jennings Nix and his second wife , Temperance (Tempy) Poole Ellison. He was eight years old for the 1900 federal census of Alabama, Blount County,Thompsons, District 16. He married Lois Proffitt on 24 Oct 1931. That is about it for my knowledge of this family. Assistance would be appreciated. Spencer's draft card shows him as 24 years old, single and a farmer, living at Rt. #1 Oneonta, Blount County, Alabama.

NOTE; There is another member of the family in the Coal mine at Logan WV, who was it? Spencer's older brother Huley Clayton Nix was also in Logan West Virgiaia, working in a Coal Minning Town, so I suppose hat his younger brother followed him.
