"In the name of God amen I Spencer Lacey in the County of Sussex and state of Delaware being of sound mind doth make & ordain this my Last will & testament in manner & form followin that is to say first I commend my soul into the hands of almighty god & my body to the earth to be decently buryed at the descreson of my executors hereinafter named & touching the disposion of all my temporil estate I give & dispose thereof as followthe I will my debts & funeral charges shall be paid & discharged.
I give & bequeath unto well beloving wife Mary Lacey all my moveble estate deoin hire wedhode I all so give all my lands to my well belovid wife during her wedhode and after hir chang of life by marriage or deth
I give my moveable estate what is left to my three children which is to say Wm B. Lacey & Delafaty F. Lacey & Sallay E. Lacey to be equiled divided and after my well belovid wife Mary Lacey chang of life by marrun or deth I giv to my son Wm B. Lacey my lands as foloing wich I give the plantation that I now live in to be ingoyed by him for evir wich he is to pay fifteen pound to Leme Smeth Lacey in one year after he recvis the land
I also give to my loven son John M. Lacey one bed & furniture and no mor. I give to my well beloved son Delafaty F. Lacey the plantation ware John Chipe now livs to be his fore evir
I giv to my loven deater Sallay E. Lacey the plantation where old Derray now livs to be hirs for evir.
I do hereby bequeath and & assign my loving wife Mary Lacey my Exectrix and William B. Lacey Executor for to be the sole executors of this my last will & testament & sit my hand & seal this tenth day of March one thousand eight hundred & ten.
