Mrs. Sophronia Norvell died May 4, 1892, aged 67, from La Grippe. She was born in Howard County, Mo., on March 14, 1824. She was the wife of John Norvell, who died April 11, 1885. She had lived in Holt County, Mo., for 47 years.
Six children were born and five survive; Mrs. Maggie Gray, Mrs. John Dreher, Mrs. James Acton, Mrs. Mary Hillard (deceased), John Norvell Jr., and Mrs. Kate Norvell.
