(b.) Sophia Louisa Sevier Brown, daughter of Louisa Rebecca Sevier Brown and Major Byrd Brown, was born January 14, 1842. She married Shelby McDowell Deaderick (see Deaderick Family Volume 1 Notable Southern Families). Her second husband was George Columbus Ward and her third husband was John A. Graham.
Sophia Louisa Sevier Brown had children by each of her marriages.
Her children were:

C. Nellie Ward died unmarried
D. Esther Ruth Ward, died in infancy
E. William Ward, died in infancy
The only surviving children of Sophia Louisa Sevier Brown were the son of her first husband and a daughter by the second husband.
