2 Solomon WRIGHTSMAN (Abt 1786 - 1860)
NOTE: Solomon died in the Poor House in 1860. His father, John Sr, made careful
provision for him in his will: "is my will and Testament, that my two sons Samuel
and Michael shall act for my son Solomon so long as he lives if not capable to act
for himself, as I would do myself and to put his money to Interest-- and last that
all my moveable property shall be sold upon public sale, and the amount thereof
to be added to my son Solomon's chear(share) alone."
NOTE: There is conflicting information on Solomon's year of birth. At the time of
his death in 1860, his age differed by 5 years between census records and his death
record. If he was 75 at the time of his death, he would have been born about 1785
and from the second marriage. If he was 80 at the time of his death, his year of
birth would have been about 1779-1780, making him a child of the first marriage.
