    Solomon was born in 1814. He was the son of John Secrist and Rosanna Dunn. He passed away in 1856. Note: Wayne Secrest in his family research papers made the comment that he was told that Solomon had been helping fight a brush fire. It was believed by the family that he probably died as a result of smoke inhalation.
