Soloman Romig, a former resident of Pennfield Twp. died at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, his eightieth birthday, at the Calhoun County infirmary following an extended illness. He had been a patient at the infirmary for the last 15 months. Mr Romig was born September 3 1855 in Marshall County Indiana, and was the son of John and Anna (Schuck) Romig. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Gunn of Kalamazoo and Miss Josephine Romig, of this city, and a granddaughter, Mrs. R.Z. Kitley of 52 Pickford ave. The body was removed to Hebble Funeral Home Pending the completion of funeral arrangements. Solomon died (9-3-1935) and is buried at Dowling cemetery in Dowling, MI.
