[Note: a Find A Grave memorial discusses a discrepancy of Source:Newton, William Monroe. History of Barnard, Vermont, with Family Genealogies, 1761-1927 which claims this man d. there in 1813, but the Vermont man is clearly a different person as is discussed in this very source, being the wrong age. He was said by Find A Grave to be admitted as a freeman to Barnard in 1791, while this Solomon Blackmer was still "of Western" in deeds dated 1800 (e.g. Worcester deed Vol. 165, p. 31 dated 13 Apr 1800).]
