↑ NEHGR, "Friends' Records at East Hoosuck (Adams), Mass.", Vol. 72, p. 17, reports his birth as "21st of 8th mo 1759", clearly recorded when he was an adult, and clearly wrong. Source:Randall, R. Ferris. Ancestors and Descendants of Snow Randall, the Quaker, 1609-1973, p. 13, reports his birth as Scituate 1 Sep 1752, but no such birth is found in Scituate VRs, and one doubts this source found any record either, as it calls Josiah "possibly a twin of Snow", a question one would think it could answer fairly definitively if it had found an actual record.
