    Simon Swank 5/5, son of George Swank 4/4 (Henry Schwenck 3/4, Johann Adam Schwenck 2/1, Johann Michael Schwenck 1/1) and Barbara was born March 9, 1820 and died June 5, 1884. He is known to have married twice and probably three times. His wives were Rebecca, born Dec. 4, 1815; died Feb. 28, 1853 and Catharine Ann, born Mar. 2, 1827; died Sept. 17, 1862 and Margaret A., born ca. 1844; died prior to 1884, is also believed to have been Simon's wife. Simon and his first two wives are buried in the Jacob's Church Cemetery, Reed Station, Pa. Simon was a brickmaker residing in Elysburg at the time of his death. Based on the birth years of his children, his oldest daughter was born to his second marriage and his two sons to his third marriage. Descendants: 6/1 Elizabeth Swank (8/20/1855-6/23/1857), 6/2 Thomas S. Swank (ca. 1865-), 6/3 Lorenzo D. Swank (8/10/1868-9/26/1943).
