    He was the son of Joseph and Martha (White) Olmsted of Enfield, and was descended from James Olmsted, who emigrated from England in the ship Lion and settled in Boston in 1632. In the administration of his estate, 1804, the following heirs are given: children, Ebenezer, Sally, Timothy, Roxalenah McCray, Sylvanus, George, Joseph and Simeon. His descendants are said to have a direct Mayflower ancestor. ...
