Note from Pat Jackson Armendinger:
"Silas Heathway Jackson's grave:
His gravestone is in the Methodist/Presbyterian Church cemetery in Succasunna, NJ. When we went there several years ago, I had a nice meeting and tour with a gentleman from the Methodist Church who said that the two church cemeteries had an undefined line between the two and that the people who were buried behind the Methodist church did not want to be near the people who were buried behind the Presbyterian church - some sort of religious conflict. I have a picture of the Methodist Church where the cemetery is behind it. That is the side that the Jackson's/Carmichaels/Coonrods are buried."

NOTE that his grandson Silas H. Jackson signed his WWI Draft Registration card as Silas Hathaway Jackson. The Hathaways and the Jacksons were closely related in Morris County and I expect the spelling of the grandfather's name as Silas Heathaway is probably a mis-spelling and it should be Hathaway, just like his grandson.
