    Silas H. Bliven, 84, of 11 North Washington street, who lived in Janesville for the past 25 years, died at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mercy hospital. He was born in Albion Jan. 16, 1851, and married Miss Emma Goodell, Albion, who died in 1925. He is survived by one son, Louis Bliven, Janesville, and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Smith, Albion.

    The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at a funeral home at 15 North Jackson street with the Rev. Herbert C. Kimmel, First Congregational church, to officiate. Burial will be in the Edgerton cemetery.
