SIDNEY CATHERINE LEWIS was born on 2 Feb 1826 at Kentucky.
She married
THOMAS KELSEY WATKINS, son of DANIEL WATKINS and NANCY KELSEY, on 27 Oct
1847 at Putnam County, Indiana, at the age of 21. They were the parents of
seven children, five girls and two boys. She and THOMAS KELSEY WATKINS
appeared on the census of 1850 at Scott Township, Montgomery County,
Indiana. The family moved from Indiana to Kankakee County, Illinois
between the birth of Caroline in 1854 and Daniel in 1856. They were back
in Indiana by 1880. She and THOMAS KELSEY WATKINS appeared on the census
of 1860 at Yellowhead, Kankakee County, Illinois. She and THOMAS KELSEY
WATKINS appeared on the census of 1880 at Greencastle, Putnam County,
Indiana.
She died on 2 Feb 1889 at age 63.
