    Shirley Mae Hines age 85 of Sunset Home, Quincy,Illinois, formerly of 1111 Elm, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Sunset Home

    Born March 5, 1928 in Lincoln, Neb a daughter of John Richard & Effie J. (Atwood) Daw, Sr, Shirley married Bennie Lee Hines, Sr.

    Shirley worked as a LPN at Sunset Home and at St. Mary Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church.

    Shirley is survived by her two sons:
    Bennie L. Hines, Jr. of Quincy
    James W. "Jay" Hines, Sr.(Dorothy) of Maywood, Missouri

    Five grandchildren:
    Nicole Hines
    Jessica Campbell (John)
    Tiffany Hines
    Brittany Hines
    J.W. Hines, Jr.

    Four Great Grandchildren:
    Asher and Caleb Hines
    Bella & Emma Campbell.

    She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her many friends

    Shirley was preceded in death by her parents,two brothers: Harry Atwood Daw, John Richard "Dick" Daw, Jr.
    Also two sisters: Helen Loretta Gordon and Josephine S. Wellman.

    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home
    Interment Tuesday afternoon, in Oakwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Illinois, Tuesday March 12,2013, at 2:00 PM.

    Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the time of the services
