Twice rejected from joining the Czech army because 'he was too littlel'. Third time recruited, because he asked to immigrate to Israel. After two years in the Czech army, made his Alya. Worked in the dead Sea, then as a miner in the Castel mines (1936-1939) In 1939, joined the Royal Air Force. Served in Egypt, Iraq and Iran. About 1950, joined the Israeli Air Force until his retirement
