    at Northampton, and in 1816 he removed to DeKalb, St. Lawrence county, N. Y., where he became an Elder of the Presbyterian church, and up to the time of his death he was an earnest and conscientious Christian. In 1826 he went to Michigan to pass the remainder of his days with his son, George Eltweed Pomeroy, who was then the only survivor of seven children. … He d. at Palmyra, Mich., March 13, 1861."
