Some WFT submitters show SJ's death as being in Odell, Texas. Hisdeath in Walnut Springs is well documented. Zona Poole, a granddaughter, in correspondence with me, relates how he w as "laid out "in a back bedroom of the family home. She commented that he had worn his beard all his life but he was shaven after his death. The next day he was buried in Milwee Cemetery, at Walnut Springs, near Horatio, Sevier County, Arkansas. I have today (14 Dec 1998) learned that Ada did indeed marry again after SJ's death and died in WilbargerCounty Tx as did her second husband. This would explain how some of Ada's descendant came to the belief that SJ died in Odell, Tx.

Names and/or the spellings can be clues to a sucessful ancestor hunt.If you look at the family list for Myrtle Mima Meeks Hall you will see that three of her children are named Seyborn , Selena and Martha Pearl. These are the names of her grandfather and two of his sisters.

Also a point of note is that on the 1860 Walker County Alabama census report, S J's name wa s spelled "Ceburn". Can there possibly be yetanother new spelling of SJ's first name? Today while looking through some pictures, I found a photo of a boy about 3-5 years years old. O nt he back of this picture was the name Sebron Edward Beauchamp. This picture was of the type that was used just after the old tintypes.According to experts th e p hoto came from the 1890-1910 time period. Can anyone tell me who this Sebron was? He had to be the son or grandson of one of SJ's brothers or cousins.
