Sarah L. White Burkhart, 91, Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2004. Sarah was a member of Oaklandon Christian Church and worked for RCA 35 years, retiring in 1975. She was the widow of Charles R. Burkhart. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Betty Jo Fowler, grandchildren Sheri Mills, Ben Flower and Patricia Safstrom and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 5 in Flanner & Buchanan Lawrence Funeral Center. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 4 at the funeral center. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Oaklandon. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Oaklandon Christian Church.
