Samuel Easton, the son of Joseph Easton and his wife, Sarah Spencer, was born in East Hartford and baptized on February 14, 1702. He died there on April 20, 1761. His wife's surname has never been discovered. The compiler of the Easton genealogy has her recorded merely as Sarah, who died November 21, 1779, aged 69.
