Will of Sarah Allee. Made April 3, 1789. Duck Creek Hd. In the name of God Amen. I Sarah Allee of Duck Creek hundred: in the county of Kent and State of Delaware do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Comegys one Negro girl named Hannah, being the same that now lives with her, also the choice of my beds and furniture, and the dressing table now in the Chamber
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Allee one Negro girl named Mary, one bed and furniture to have her choice after her sister Elizabeth, my best half dozen of Walnut Chairs , one Walnut Tea Table, one Mahogony chest of drawers one half dozen Chiney plates, one looking glass now in the Parlour chambers and one rush bottomed Couch.
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Conner one Negro girl named -----(Jean?)
Item I give and bequeath to my grand Daughter Mary Conner one Negro girl named ----(Sude?)
ItemI give and bequeath to my Son Abraham one Negro woman named Elizabeth, and her infant child named David, one Negro boy named Jack, one oval walnut Table, one desk, one eight day clock, one looking glass and the bed and furniture on which I usually sleep, together with all and singular the rest and residue of my real and personal estate when and where ----- the same shall or may be, to him, my said Son Abraham his heirs and assigns forever.
I nominate, constitute and appoint my Brother Doctor James Tilton, and my Nephew James Morris Executors of this, my last Will and Testament, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this third day of April in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred eighty nine 1789
