… Sarah Strong who was born at ~~Coventry, Conn.~~ [Coventry was not settled until 1709. She was almost certainly born, but not recorded, at Northampton since her elder and younger siblings were recorded there] and died at Lebanon 25 December 1726 aged 52 years, daughter of Jedediah and Freedom (Woodward) Strong. Sarah is not mentioned in the will of her father written on 7 January 1726/7, but her son William gave a receipt for his share of his grandfather Jedediah Strong's estate.

Sarah, wife of Thomas Cushman of Duxbury and Lebanon, was daughter of Jedediah Strong of Coventry, Conn., as is proved by a receipt (dated Coventry, 25 Sept. 1733) from William Cushman (son of Thomas and Sarah) to "Preserved Strong Executor of y^e last will of his father Jedediah Strong late of Coventry deceased," for 9s. 9d., "in full of what was will'd to me by my honoured Grandfather Jedediah Strong."
