She was daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Hunt) Spooner, of Newport, granddaughter of Wing and Deborah (Church) Spooner, of Newport, gt. granddaughter of Samuel and Experience (Wing) Spooner, of Dartmouth, Mass., and gt.-gt. granddaughter of William and Hannah (Pratt) Spooner, of Plymouth and Dartmouth.
