HARDING, Josiah, of New Salem, m. 15 Aug 1839 Sarah Stearns Proctor, d/o Josiah Proctor & Sally Stearns, b. 27 May 1818.
[Note: an apparent editing error cause Sally to be left out of her parents' family listing on p. 219-220.]

  3. Sally is listed in the 1850 census (line 26) but her husband has remarried by the 1860 census (line 20-21). A Find A Grave memorial with no image claims her death date is 1 Jul 1850, but this is not credible as the 1850 census is dated 3 Sep 1850.
