    "Sarah b. about 1698 at Edgartown, d. ____; m. 13 Jan. 1719-20 at Tolland, Conn., as second wife, Captain Ebenezer Nye, b. ____ at Sandwich, Mass., d. 2 July 1759; son of Caleb and Elizabeth (Wood) Nye. Captain Ebenezer Nye m., for his first wife, Susanna _____ who d. 20 Jan. 1718. He was a farmer and one of the first settlers at Tolland, Conn., in 1718, and very probably came from Dartmouth, Mass. He was a public-spirited man, and served as selectman for thirteen years and was a member of the House of Representatives one session."
