↑ A Joseph Lee participated in the distribution of the estate of Person:John Peirce (8). One set of participants is the heirs of John's daughter, "Elizabeth Lee Dec'd". Family:John Lee and Elizabeth Pierce (1) aren't known to have a son Joseph. Joseph Lee m. 1648 Sarah Cocks. No record of such a Sarah has been found and it is possible that Sarah Lee m. a Mr. Cocks, who dying soon, left the young widow to marry Joseph. However, confirming records cannot be found. It is also possible that the son John was a misrecording of Joseph, that Joseph bought somebody's share, or that there is some other relationship to explain Joseph's participation.
