Daughter of Andreas Kissinger and Sovena Nosler.
Wife of Jacob Nida/Niday. There is a Sarah Harless who married John Niday. This Sarah Harless is sometimes conflated with Sarah Kissinger. Sarah Kissinger and Jacob Niday were married in 1812. Sarah Harless and John Niday were married in 1818.
Mother of Melinda Harless Nida Epling, Frances Nida Adams, Susanna Nida Hunter, Catherine Ann Nida Criner, Sarah Nida Carper, Mary Ann Nida Epling Paul, John Nida, Phoebe Nida Wingo, Jacob Nida Jr., Emaline Nida Stump, and Anna Nida Nida.[1]
Child #1: Melinda Harless married Christopher Epling 29 Jul 1824 in Giles County. This is too early for her to be a child of this family. I do not think Melinda belongs.
Child #2: The marriage record of Frances Nida and Sam Adams is the only trace of them I have found.
Child #3: I have not found a marriage record of Hiram Hunter and Susanna Nida. The FamilySearch profile, unsourced, has a date of 15 Apr 1835 in Giles County.
