↑ There appears to be considerable confusion over the date of death. The only recorded death found is dated 8 Nov, in Franklin, where Sarah's step-son Daniel Throop appears to have lived. The gravestone says either 3 or 23 Nov (probably 3 as the mark that may be a 2 would appear to sit too low, so probably is simply a mark). [[Source:NYGBR|NYGBR}}, Vol. 36, p. 128 indicates 7 Nov, but does not give any basis for that. This is repeated many places, probably the result of copying without verifying.
