Sarah Henderson was born on 22 December 1785, in Virginia, United States, her father, John Henderson, was 35 and her mother, Charlotte Miller, was 30. She married William Hall on 8 October 1805, in Greene, Tennessee, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 7 daughters. She died on 1 March 1868, in Bradley, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 82.
