Clay County , Liberty, MO from the Liberty Advance of august 29, 1902 

Mrs. Keller died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.A.Fox Sunday night. Mrs. Keller was well along in years and was a good Christian lady. Short funeral services were held at the Fox home on Monday morning conducted by Dr. F.W. Eberhardt, after which the remains were shipped to Seymour,


The family settled in Appanoose County 8 miles east of Seymour in 1865 and were widely known and respected. The husband died at the old home December 6, 1888. the deceased has been living with her daughter Mrs. Mahala Fox at Liberty, MO for some time. Here she spent the closing days of her life. She suffered from heart trouble and all the attention that loving hands, and hearts could plan was given her until death came. 


The body was brought to Seymour for burial and the funeral was held at the home of her son,, Isaac Keller on Tuesday August 26, 1902 at 11am. The children have the sympathy of a large circle of friends who share their sorrow and loss. burial was at Southlawn. (Seymour, Iowa)
