Being from Stoughton per her marriage records, it would appear that Sarah would most likely be the daughter of Nathaniel Hammand and Sarah Farley, who married in Newton in 1734, moved to Stoughton and had daughter Mary in Nov. 1735. No birth record for Sarah is found in Source:Endicott, Frederic. Record of Births, Marriages and Deaths and Intentions of Marriage, in the Town of Stoughton from 1727 to 1800, and in the Town of. A marriage in 1763 argues for a birth before 1745, and her husband was born in Nov. 1735.
